The next generation Honda is coming to the WR-V Brazil. Want evidence? Check these spy shots through which is taken Motor 1 dot com Brazil’s Assistant Editor, Thyago Morino, near the capital of Sao Paulo, walking along the Bandarants Highway. The prototype, which is still a lot of jumps, reveals a little about what we can expect from Honda’s new entry level SUV for the South American market.
Caught at night, the new SUV is the same profile that is sold in Elite, a small SUV Honda India and some other Asian countries. In the rear, the car has led the lighting, which is similar to some rivals. It is worth considering the darkness of the night that we also had the opportunity to see LED headlights.

Little light did not help in the cabin, but it highlighted a large multimedia screen. It is not a unit like the city and the HR-V. From what we can tell, it seems that this is a 10.25 “horizontal screen used in the Indian market.

The new WR-V is 14.1 feet tall, 5.9 feet wide, and 5.4 feet high, with a wheel of 8.7 feet. The cargo space trunk has 16.1 cubic feet, and has an 8.6 -inch ground clearance. For comparisons, the previous car was 13.3 feet long, 5.7 feet high and 5.3 feet long, with a wheel base 8.4 feet. In the meantime, the trunk places only 12.8 cubic feet.
When it collides with the Brazilian market, the new WR-V will fill the gap that is currently present between the city’s hatch and HR-V, reinforcing the presence of Honda in the competitive compact SUV segment. It reflects the Volkswagen’s strategy for having two models in the same category (in this case, Nevis and T Cross).

In India and Japan, the WR-V offers equipment such as collision breakdown system, lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control, lane capping assist, road departure warnings, and automatic high beams as well as wireless charging for smartphones. Of course, Apple is a wireless integration for carplay and Android Auto.
With Honda already confirming its start, Toyota Yars Cross will target dealership in the second half of the rival rival 2025, all of which will be concentrated at the Atiypena plant northwest of Sao Paulo. The WR-V will be the first model that Honda plans to invest in Brazil from 2024 to 2030, coming out of R4 4.2 billion (about $ 1 billion). In addition to the WR-V, this amount will provide a new hybrid flex model, a refreshing HR-V, and the increase in production volume.
