It has been three years since Apple unveiled its own upgrade version of the carplay, designed to capture every screen in the car. It was launching last year, but 2025 arrived without a vehicle software. Austin Martin only announced last month that he would connect the carplay ultra, but it does not seem that many others will present it at any time.
According to a new report from Financial times Through ARS TechnicaApple initially said that the carplay will offer upgrade version is no longer planned to do so. These include Mercedes -Benz, Audi, Pool Star, and Volvo.

Renault, another car maker Apple, was actually listed, allegedly told Tech Dev that he should not “try to attack our own system.” Ford and Nissan, along with their related luxurious brands, were also highlighted, but both told FT that they had nothing about this technology.
The automated makers are probably considering how much they want to control Apple’s screens, and not because they are trying to restore the infotainment system. The screens are the basic user interface in modern vehicles and represent the opportunity for minatization. Many car makers are still trying to find out. General Motors is on the way to the extreme path and has decided to dig the carpe full with its cars.

However, not every automatic maker is afraid to offer his consumers’ selection. Porsche still plans to present a carplay ultra in its future models, and what, Hyundai and Genius told the publication that their cars would integrate the technology, though they were not part of Apple’s original announcement.
If enough people like the carplay ultra, the demand may not give a higher choice to hold out to present it. Apple is already at the top of the infection war, and it can maintain the possibility of winning.
