Lajtec has left solar powered keyboards in the dark for more than a decade, but today it is launching a new launch. Like K760, its new. 99.99 Sulping Slim Solar Plus K980 can only run with light. There are no USB port or changeable batteries. Instead, it has a cell offering that can convert solar or artificial light – minimize 200 lux to minimum – to power to charge its battery, which the company says will continue for 10 years. Once full charge, the company says that the K980 can be used in the dark for four months.
I asked Lajtic whether the K980 battery is capable of the user, and spokesman Melvin Delinchin said Stuffy That is “safely changing the user (because it is surrounded by plastic mold), provided by IFIXIT with spare parts.”
Beyond the capabilities of solar charging, K980 has an excellent standard full -size sequence with Windows and MacOS key labels, directional keys and a napad. Its function is pre -programmed to control the row media, screen brightness and volume, though you can customize their secondary properties (or completely close the secondary features in the Plus app for Mac or Windows. The K980 also includes a mute key, toggle on/off toggle, and an action key with the upper row that can be programmed, but you prefer in the app. It also offers a new addition: an AI launch key.
The AI key is what you think. It defaults to launch the Copylot (from Gemini to Chromosis Defaults) on Windows PC, though it can be customized to open a chat GPT or AI prompt builder in the Logetic app. Alternatively, you can assign a smart operations of Lajtic to the key to answer your inquiry in your browser. Or, you can only set it for the right CTRL. The key to the action (the key of the upper row that looks like a big O) and many others can also be programmed to put these macros into practice, whether you use any of the logistics preset or make yourself through the app.
The K980 supports the combination with three Bluetooth devices, which exchanges you with the press press. It can also be attached to a computer that contains a Logitic Bolt USB transmitter, though not included in a box (good!). In the previous Lajtic model there were playful built -in LED indicators that would warn you when the intersection light was not enough to charge the keyboard, but the K980’s power LEDs only turn red from green if it requires further compensation. Thus the logiccakes you have to install the app in addition to its options. Gets The app has an indicator that says whether there is enough light or not.
2025 appears to be the year when companies decided that the sun was cool again, as Lenovo recently launched the CES 2025 in January in January .99.99 Self -charging wireless keyboard. I think I haven’t tried to dig it more than K980, though I haven’t tried it yet and it seems that it does not include more and more. Nevertheless, there are things I like in a keyboard that lacks K980, such as adjustable legs that can give it some tilt and sple -resistant design. In addition, it has only one case, the USB-C charging port.
