Tokyo Marine Bhate taps CNA Hardy to Braesford Life Sciences U/W
Tokyo Marine Kiln (TMK)an international specialist Lloyd’s Insurance Company announced the appointment Adele Beresford As an underwriter within its Life Sciences team. She takes up her new role with immediate effect and will report to him Kristen ShastriHead of Life Sciences.

Beresford brings a combination of technical underwriting expertise and scientific knowledge to his new role. She joins from CNA Hardee where she most recently served as an underwriter in the Financial Lines Division. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Genetics and Biotechnology from Curtin University.
Beresford’s appointment strengthens TMK’s ability to deliver tailored solutions that address the specific needs of life sciences companies, from bringing innovation to market in companies that are pursuing groundbreaking research.

Hampden Risk Partners promotes D’Alessandro as active U/W, replacing Sharp
Hampden Risk Partners’ (HRP) Syndicate 2689 at Lloyd’s announced the appointment Giancarlo D’AlessandroHead of Portfolio Underwriting, for the role of Active Underwriter.
At the same time Leah rose will become the Syndicate CEO with the responsibility of supervising and managing the Syndicate. Both appointments are subject to formal approval.
D’Alessandro joined and replaced HRP in July 2024 Chris Sharp Joe is scheduled to leave HRP in early 2026, after completion of the 2026 renewal process, to pursue a new market opportunity. Gulab has been General Counsel and Claims Director at HRP since 2022.
