$350 (was $500)

The NBA Jam Deluxe cabinet comes preloaded with three classic arcade basketball games developed by Midway from 1993-1996: NBA Jam, NBA Jam Tournament Edition, and NBA Hang Time.
The control deck has two sets of inputs: an arcade stick and three buttons for each player. In addition to local multiplayer, you can play against users from around the world over Wi-Fi. Like the other Deluxe Editions of the Arcade 1Up, it features a 17-inch HD display, light-up marquee, dual stereo speakers, and a faux coin door on the front.
The cabinet is approximately 61.5 inches long, only 19 inches wide, and weighs approximately 62 pounds. If you want to sit while you play, Amazon has a limited-time deal on this popular adjustable bar stool with backrest.
Arcade 1Up has produced several NBA Jam cabinets over the past five years, but the Deluxe Edition is the only model in stores today. Outside of the Arcade 1 up cabinet, NBA Jam has been dormant for nearly 15 years. The last home console entry, NBA Jam: On Fire Edition, was released on PS3 and Xbox 360 in 2011. Thankfully, Arcade1Up’s NBA Jam Cabinet offers an authentic way to revisit the best entries in the series.
NBA Jam debuted exclusively in arcades in 1993 and was introduced to consoles the following year. Tournament Edition, launched in 1994, is essentially an updated and expanded version of the original NBA Jam. As the name suggests, the main addition was the tournament mode. It’s still 2v2 basketball, but Midway adds a third player to each team, allowing you to make substitutions every game. Tournament Edition also expanded the player state category.
NBA Hangtime was developed by the same team at Midway, just with a different title because the NBA Jam moniker was marketed to compliment the entertainment. Midway once again expanded rosters to five players and introduced a custom player creator, but NBA Hangtime is still very much an NBA Jam game.

There are three other Arcade 1 Up Deluxe cabinets for sale on Amazon and Best Buy. Fast and Furious is $500 off (was $600). This home arcade cabinet has two games and traditional racing wheel/floor pedal controls. The Pac-Man Deluxe Cabinet is discounted for $450 ($500) and features 14 arcade classics from Namco. The Class of ’81 Deluxe Cabinet—a split theme featuring Ms. Pac-Man and Galaga—is also on sale at Best Buy and features 12 sports for $50,450.
You can also save $50 on all three Arcade 1 Up Classic Special Edition cabinets, including Mortal Kombat II from Midway Games, the same studio behind NBA Jam. To make these cabinets as tall as the deluxe model, you’ll need to purchase the official riser, which retails for $39 ($60). Check out our story on Arcade 1UP’s Budget-Friendly Classic Special Edition Cabinets for more details.
For an even more affordable option, take a look at Pac-Man and the Class of ’81 Counter-Kids for $130 ($150).
