The Physical YSX: Pride Nordics Deluxe Edition includes the game, a mini art book, and a Fallout poster featuring the main cast.
Pre-orders for the Switch 2 and PS5 physical versions are priced at $70 each at Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart, Target, and GameStop. Note that the Switch 2 version of YS X: Pride Nordics is a game key card release, meaning no game data is stored on the card. Instead, they act as verification keys for the downloaded game, so you’ll need plenty of space to download the game to your Switch 2. The game’s file size has not been verified. However, like other physical games, game cards can be used on more than one Switch 2s—you have to download the game data before playing.
YSX: Proud Nordics is an action RPG that focuses on adventurer Adol and proud Norman Karja as they bind themselves together with rings of mana. With the threat of an underworld horde known as the Graiger Drawing Close, the pair work together to assemble a trusted crew of friends and allies to help save the day. Pride Nordics is an improved version of YS X, offering improved performance, balanced gameplay, and quality-of-life updates compared to the original game, which launched in 2024 on PS4, PS5, Switch, and PC. Here’s a brand new story set around the island of Landland, and the setting for the dungeons of the Demonic Time Trial. On top of all that, the game features new Mana Actions, Mana Raid Racing, and all the DLC content from the original game.
As mentioned above, there are more JRPGs during February. Dragon Quest VII Reimagined is already out on February 5th, and it’s a complete remake of the original game from 2000. The new version features a beautiful art style reminiscent of sculptural statues and major changes to the story and gameplay aimed at making the game less slog to play. Playing any version of Dragon Quest VII gives you a special outfit for the main hero and three badges of skill items. These pre-order bonuses are included with all physical and digital pre-orders, while offering the Digital Deluxe Edition on any platform gives you 48 hours early access to the full game starting February 3rd.
