YouTube announced on Monday, changing how the ideas of YouTube shorts, its short form video section that have 60 seconds or less format are counted. Earlier, a theory is counted only when someone looked briefly for a certain number of seconds. Starting on March 31, a scene is immediately counted when someone plays or replays a short video.
YouTube wrote in a statement, “thoughts can move forward.”

“We hope that this deep understanding of your shorts performance will help you to inform you of your content strategy,” YouTube said in a statement.
