Someone in Samsung may need refresh on password hygiene. A hacker allegedly violated a company’s database using login that was stolen in 2021 but never changed.
At the end of the week, a hacker called “GHNA” claims that 270,000 users have stolen tickets from the Samsung database in Germany. Data, which was uploaded to the hackers forum, includes users’ full names, email addresses and physical addresses.
CyberScureti Vendor Hudson Rock, who oversees the password that has been stealing passwords from Malware and circulating between hackers, investigated the stolen information samples. They indicate that the data launched with “Samsung Shop. Seconds (. Hudson Rock then reviewed the stolen login credentials of his library and found a set belonging to the same domain – which was withdrawn in 2021.
In particular, Windows -based Ricone Stellar Malware secretly harvested the password, possibly from the employee’s computer in the spectos, says CyberScureti Vendor.

Hudson Rock added, “This credentials sat down, even ‘Ghana’ put his hand on them.” “Samsung acted, but he did not do so, and now it has been harmed.”

Samsung and Spectos did not immediately respond to the request for comment. But these results highlight how much malware infections can bother companies and consumers for years. In 2024, a hacker violated multiple accounts by souring passwords in cloud storage providers, “infoesting” malware.
Hudson Rock added, “Infoastillers do not need to give their path strength. They just wait for the human mistake to give their keys.” “And when companies fail to monitor or rotate the credentials, the game ends.”
