Institutes mini -41 has an all -plastic construction, style to look like a vintage film camera. Its steel brown and black finish, old school nasty, and stylized type fosses take a look at the aesthetics around the lens, which are important to some people. This is not too high to carry the L -Too: Body measures 4.8 by 4.0 by 2.4 inches (HWD) and weighs 15.1 ounces with batteries and film.

The camera is a decent round, though not like a mini -12. It is also comfortable to keep it, with the panic of diamonds on most parts of the body, which prevents it from slipping from your hand. An added wrist strap is attached to one of the two, which is located on the left and right sides. Since there are two connection points, so if you prefer you have the option of adding a cross body strap. Just be aware that the connection points are very tight to work with the famous anchor and the strap of Kerry system of peak design.

The mini 41 works with an institute mini film, which comes in color or black and white and is often available in a limited run pack with a playful border design. The quick film has a wallet -shaped image area (1.8 by 2.4 inches). It is the smallest of the military’s three quick film shapes, so if you prefer a large 2.4-2.4 inch frame or instalx wide 400 (9 149.95) for 3.6-1-1.8 inch prints, consider Instacks Square SQ1 ($ 119.95). The mini movie sells about 50 shots of 10 shots for 50 7.50 and $ 8 for monochrome.

Soldiers make quick cameras in analog and digital styles, and the mini -41 is in the former camp. Its optical plastics 60 mm F/12.7 lens directly highlight the photo chemical film, which begins to develop as soon as the camera leaves. The lens contains a moderate wide angle (the same as 35 mm full frame prime) and two manual fox zones, for close -ups with an 11.8 -inch (0.3m) focal distance and for articles off a second camera.
The arrest of the mini -41 fully analog view means that you are spending some money, about $ 0.75, whenever you press the shutter. If you are not willing to be fully committed to the film, consider Instacks Mini Evo (199.95), a digital compact that has a built -in printer that has spit the pictures in the mini film. With the EVO, you can just print your photos, as you want, unlike the use of the film for every exhibition with mini 41. EVO uses the same type of film for prints but is primarily a different experience in use and does not have an analog character like Mini 41. Finally, choosing analog and digital instant photography is a matter of personal priority.

The camera is powered by a pair of AA batteries (included) that puts a load in the side. A sliding plastic door covers the basket, and the film load in the back. The mini -41 contains a reminder window in the back section showing how many images are left in the film cartridge. Each mini cartridge has ten pictures.
Like the mini -12, the mini -41 does not include a tripod attached thread. Mini 41 width, flat down allows it to sit upright on a table or any other flat surface, but if you want a quick camera that you can use with a tripod, you will want to upgrade Fujie’s premium mini 99 or nun SL 645 ($ 539) to exchange lens camera. We have not yet reviewed the SL 645, which also uses the mini -film, but has previously tested the Instacks Square Edition, NNSSL 660 (9 599).
