Inside the Greenwich Lounge at JFK

On a recent journey from New York to Buenos Aires, Argentina, I had the opportunity to see the lounge situation in New York-Jan F. Kennedy, which for passengers flying American Airlines flag business class. I visited the US Airlines Green Lounge.

It was my first flight to American Airlines in almost 10 years. Generally, I fly the Delta. I am familiar with Delta Sky Club And the New Sanzi Delta One Lounge in JFK, so I was very interested in seeing how the Lounge in JFK for American premium passengers compare.

Take me: Green lounge is short. The lounge was spacious, and parts of it were beautiful, but the food was just that.

American and Winner Partner British Airways has three premium lounges in JFK, each is named in London and New York City. Access to Chelsea, Sohu and Green Lounge depends on tickets, rental class or adventure status.

Talking for my flight using a premium lane at JFK’s Terminal 8, I was told that I could access the Green Water Lounge. I was slightly disappointed because I heard that the other lounges were a bit good.

Access to the Green West Lounge is for passengers flying in a one -day international or transcontinental flight, some in air flights, or in the Winner Business Class for a flagship business cabin. Some British Airways passengers also have access.

For passengers who are not eligible for premium clubs, there is also a regular American Airlines Admirals Club in the Terminal 8, near the security checkpoint.

Once you enter, many representatives will check your boarding pass and identification and allow you to enter the lounge with a bright picture in New York City and enter the lounge.

When I entered the lounge place, I first saw how big it seemed. It may have been a fact that it was after 8 o’clock on Monday, but it seemed that there was plenty of space.

The total capacity of the lounge is 590, and there were several types of areas sitting in the main room with many chairs. Even some had a view of the nearest gates and outside the aircraft.

It looks like a part of the sports sports program is arranged to watch, in which all chairs are facing a big screen.

Hot and cold food was a huge thing, including mats balls, pasta and poultry as well as salads and cold deductions.

There was a cooler away from the side with a beverage and coffee station. In the middle of the seating area, there was a self -service brewery.

What I tasted from the buffet was satisfactory, but nothing has knocked my socks. My friends who were with me say something.

For those who want to refresh, there are some places that have room rooms and 10 shower sweets.

There is also a children’s room behind some glass gates, which have some small chairs, but there are no activities or sports spaces.

In addition to the major sitting and buffalo areas, there is another area of ​​the Green Best lounge with two special places, the taste room and the bridge.

I was not sure that I could go to spaces, so I had to ask someone.

The entrance to the tasting room is right behind the central food buffet and includes the global craft Breuker Brooklyn Brewery items.

Many beer were on the tap, and there was a separate food menu. The challenge here was looking for someone to take food or drink orders.

I ordered both New York -style hot Pratzel and a bad and apple grilled cheese and was disappointed with both of them. It seemed that Pratzel was of the same nature in the frozen food section of any grocery store, and it was difficult to find a cheese on the inquiry cheese Sandwich.

There was another buffet and bar area with sitting at the tasting room, some of which ignore the gate areas. I thought this was the end of the lounge, but then I saw a symbol pointing to the bridge.

After some of the hallmarks made my way, I found myself in the bridge area. I think this is the most beautiful place in the whole green lounge, with a central feeling, soft lighting, plants and sitting sitting.

When I visited, the bottom area was a construction zone, but once this work is finished, I imagine that it would be nice to sit in a quiet place in search of drinks while coming to the passengers.

The bridge has its own cocktail menu, which is designed to complete the aviation American jinn and twisted mixer and food beverage.

Once again, perhaps the reason was that it was too late in the evening, but there was no one in the bridge area who made cocktail for his friends and me. We almost felt as if we were somewhere.

Finally, someone arrived and we ordered the house made of salt and vinegar potato chips. I do not believe 100 %, but what reached the same chips I did with my inquiry cheese.

Overall, I thought the Green Lounge was a good place to spend a few hours between checking a long flight and riding overnight. The food was fine but nothing was special.

Seating was comfortable, and four specified areas had different types of tables and sets of sets. I was expecting more.
