The Coin Base has introduced a new payment protocol for online payments that enables the transfer of stable queen to a more independently autonomous deal with standard Internet protocol and AI agents.
On May 6, Coin Base announced that it was immediately launching a protocol called X402 for stabilion payments on Internet Communication Protocol HTTP (Hyper Text Transfer Protocol).
The firm has said that it allows application programming interface (APIs), apps, and AI agents to deal with without interruption, “Fastest, automatic internet economy unlocking,” said the firm.
The Coin Base said the X402 “is making the first internet mistake.” The protocol resurns the experimental http 402 “payment requirement” status code to create a smooth payment system on the Internet.
The firm noted that traditional payment rails, such as credit cards, bank transfers and subscriptions, “were created for the pre -internet world.”
