Disney is planning a new theme park in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. So far, the details are low – and a big question is how many tickets will cost when the park opens, which may take seven years or more.
It was announced on May 7, 2025, the first floor of the Walt Disney Company in the Middle East and seventh globally. It will be built on Yas Island – already the home of the Seward, Ferrari World and Warner Bruce World – and promises to combine Disney’s characters with “UAE” cultural elements.
Do we not know
Beyond these details, there is a lot of what we don’t yet know:
When the park opens. Disney CEO Bob Egger, while interviewing CNBC, said that usually it takes about 18 months to two years to make the park, but it has been noted that Disney was not making any promises on time.
How big the park will be, and how much of it will be inside the house. Summer temperatures can climb up to 120 ° Fahrenheit, so an indoor park will make it a more charming destination in hot months. Surrounding Abu Dhabi and Warner Bruce World are both indoor theme parks.
How much tickets will cost. The United Arab Emirates is known to showcase its wealth, and Disney Parks is also known as valuable – so you think these two can be joint expensive. But currently, Abu Dhabi’s theme Parks are a little less expensive than their US counterpart.
If the current trends are held, the new park can be less expensive than the American Disney Parks when it finally begins. But that’s a big deal Unless Construction costs, inflation, exchange rates and other economic factors can all affect the final price. And with many years before opening, a lot can change.

How much does the second theme park tickets in the United Arab Emirates cost?
Although Disney Abu Dhabi is still far from disclosing ticket prices, we looked at the other theme parks in the United Arab Emirates to find out what prices are compared to US prices.
Take the Searland and Legland, two brands that run parks in both the United States and the United Arab Emirates (Legland is 45 minutes away from the island of Dubai). Nold Walt analyzed the one -day adult ticket prices for sale online in May 2025 and found that the tickets were permanently cheap at their United Arab Emirates locations. We have converted UAE prices to the US dollar in Deram for comparisons.
UAE Theme Park Price in USD | US Theme Park Price in the US Dollar | |

Although pricing differences are not large, they are notable – especially for families who buy numerous tickets.
There is also the Big Mac Index, a matriculation that economists have developed to compare the equality of purchase power worldwide. As of January 2025, the price of a Big Mac is only 18 dirhams (about $ 4.90) in the United Arab Emirates, compared to 79 5.79 in the United States, which means that the UAE’s Big Mac is one to 15 percent cheaper in the United States.
Don’t forget the flight – but points can help
Of course, Abu Dhabi is a long journey for most Americans-about 7000 miles from New York and 13 hours in the air. It’s not like Disneyland or Disney World over the weekend.
But if you are strategic, the aircraft may not be a Dell breaker.
For those who start, there are many options to get there. The Disney Theme Park, a planned Disney theme in the United Arab Emirates, is near two major airports. Jointly, they form the world’s largest global airline, with 120 million passengers traveling through Abu Dhabi and Dubai every year.
American Airlines AadNTAGE: Use fairs to sell flights to alliance, which will be priced for pricing pricing from the United States to the Middle East, which is 35,000 miles away in the economy.
Capital a mile: Capital a mile transfer For partners such as Alliance Guest or Flying Blue (KLM/Air France), both of which are often developing in the Middle East.
And once you get there, the bank cannot break the residence. Abu Dhabi offers a strong choice of friendly hotels, including Hilton, Marriott and Height Properties.
