US House Speaker Mike Johnson has eliminated President Donald Trump’s corruption concerns about dinner for his top holders of his Memocenne and responded to whether the list of participants should be released in the interest of transparency.
Johnson told CNN Jack Tapper May 25 that he did not know anything about Trump’s May 22 and choosing not to share his opinion about the program, in which 35 House Democrats have demanded an investigation from the Justice Department.
“We do not know who was there,” Tapper told Johnson. The list has not been released. We do not know how much money has come from outside the country. ” “I really have a difficult time to imagine that if he was a Democratic president, you would not be angry.”
Johnson replied, “Look, I don’t know anything about dinner,” claiming that he was “busy a bit this week,” said Johnson.
“I’m not going to comment on something I didn’t hear about. I am not sure who was there or the purpose was.”
Johnson then claimed that Trump was the “most transparent president” in history and “there is nothing to hide.”
Democrats have called for Trump’s crypto dinner event to release the list of participants, as he is suspected to be accepted by Trump by violating federal bribery laws or foreign immunity clause.
Under the Emirate District, the US President has been barred from accepting any gift from a foreign state without the approval of the Congress.
