Skyla Insurance Services, a subsidiary of the Skyla Credit Union, has received policy line insurance, the benefits of employees and insurance brokerage in Carolon.
This acquisition strengthens the ability to provide custom benefits to Skyla Credit Union’s corporate accounts and sponsored companies. The company said in a news release that Jeff Ricks, owner of the policy line, was nominated as the president of Skyla Insurance Services.
Ricks is one of the founders of the policy line, which began in 2003, and was previously known as the Pedmont Benefit Group based in Carnelius, North Carolina. In 2015, the firm extended to offer insurance options for clients.
