The move in President Donald Trump’s tax deduction bill will recently abolish AI’s laws and regulations in dozens of states.

A group of 40 state Attorney Generals, including Republicans from Ohio, Tennessee, Arkansas, Utah and Virginia and other states, urged Congress to request the move on May 16 as the US House of Representatives’ budget committee prepared for a Sunday night hearing.

The group said, “A widespread deployment of all state operations .The Congress fails to work in the area and is irresponsible and deprives consumers of reasonable protection.”

The California -based Attorney General – which includes the home of renowned AI companies, including Openi, Alphabet, Meta Platform and Entropic, who were in the Democrats signing to the letter.

Attorney General Rob Bonta said, “I strongly oppose any attempt to promote joint senses regulation and prevent them from implementing them. The states should be able to protect my residents by responding to the emerging and evolutionary AI technology.”

California implemented a raft of bills this year, limiting the specific use of AI, which gave examples of such laws that would be blocked under Mauritium.

Like several other states, California has convicted the use of AI to produce sexually clear images of individuals without their consent. The state also bans unauthorized deep fax in political advertising, and calls for health careers to inform patients when they are talking to AI, not with any human being.

Healthcare networks, also known as HMOs, have been prevented from using AI system instead of doctors to decide medical needs in California.

House Republicans said at a hearing on Tuesday that the move was necessary to help the federal government implement AI, for which the package million allocated 500 million.

“If we are allowing 1,000 different pending bills to become law in state legislatures across the country, it is serious,” said J. O’Barnolt, a California -based Republican.

“It will be impossible for any agency who works in all states to comply with these rules,” he said.

Google has described the proposed moortium as an important step in ensuring the “national security protection and the continued leadership of the US AI”.

This position will be tested if the move makes it in the Senate. It will need to clear the budget reconciliation process, which is believed to be used only for budget -related legislation.
