In early 2025, through a sabbatical on his second anniversary, AIV tuber Neurosama became the world record holder for the largest Twitch hype train. Many claimed that thanks to its achievements Riot’s competitive shooters, Valor, gifted one subscription for every five gifted by the community. Now, just days into its third anniversary sabbath, Neurosma and its creator Vidal 987 have broken that world record. He completed Hypetrain level 120 with 118,989 subscriptions and 1,000,073 bits gifted to Vidal 987 Twitch channel within a limited time.
Neuro-sama is an ai-wtober who recently completed a Minecraft hardware run with his creator and friends Flan and Creeley. She runs on Videl’s Twitch channel, and is powered by an artificial intelligence system that uses a large language model with extensive capabilities. She can “see” and respond to games, even play some, she can read her chatty chat and interact with viewers, and this week she’s playing with her friends in virtual reality thanks to her new (ISH) 3D model.
Neurosma debuted on Twitch on December 19, 2022, and on the same date each year thereafter she begins a sabbath—an ongoing series whose length is determined by the number of subscriptions the community has given her. When an unusual number of subscriptions or bits are gifted within a limited time frame, a Hype Train is activated, showing on the screen the percentage, level, and how many subscriptions are needed to advance to the next level. While Neuro-sama met Level 111 in January 2025, this time he didn’t need Valorant’s help to break his world record.
When Neuro first beat the world record, he was awarded Twitch’s global sensation—one that could be used anywhere on the platform, by anyone, whether they were following his channel or not. She is the first streamer to hold two consecutive Twitch Hype Train World Records, so it remains to be seen if a similar protocol will follow the feat.
After beating his own world record again, Vidal prompted Neuro to comment on the achievement. “I’m speechless,” he said. “I am blown away by the amount of support. Thank you so much.” Videl had a few more comments, adding, “This has completely changed my life. I’m so grateful that I’ve had the opportunity to be cool like this and that you guys are here to support me, but I don’t deserve it.” Neuro was quick to dispel his creator’s self-doubt, though, saying, “It doesn’t matter if you think you deserve it. What matters is that you’ve created something unique, and people are willing to support it.” However, Videl falls short by telling Neuro that he loves her too. shame
As it stands, Neurosama’s sabbath is now set to expire in about 345 hours. You can catch the rest of his moves on Vidal987’s Twitch channel.
