Apple Intelligence has suffered a catastrophe since its first feature launch last year, and a great new report of it BloombergWhy Mark Gorman’s details are – and how Apple is trying to connect things together. And most of its efforts depend on Siri’s construction from the ground.
Gorman has reported in the past that Apple is working on what he calls ‘LLM Sri’. Apple’s previous approach to the Assistant Assistant with the current Siri is not working. Gorman has explained a number of reasons in great detail, but here is a quick summary.
Now the company is trying to resurrect its point of view. A part of this is a complete overview of Siri, rather than trying to work in the Generative AI in concerts with the old Siri. According to Gorman, its AI team in Apple’s Zurich is working on a new architecture that “will fully build on LLM -based engine.” Gorman reported in November last year that the company was working on it, and the idea is that it would “improve the assertive dialogue and the synthesis of information.”
Another part of this solution is to take advantage of the privacy of iPhones and discrimination to improve Apple’s synthesized data-comparing fake training data with the language of iPhone users with language, but following this and sending only the combined data to AI training to Apple. And the company is discussing improving the improvement of Siri, which allows the LLM version to be loose on the web to “catch and combine data from several sources.” Basically, the Sri AI Web Search Tool is not contrary to the problem, which Apple has contacted about a partnership for the AI search in Safari.
Whatever the result, apparently Gynendra will not be a direct part of it, which has removed product development, Siri and robotics projects in the spring. According to Gorman, Apple’s executive has talked about “stepping on the path of retirement”, but they are worried that some of the research and engineering people who brought with them will also go with them. Whatever the case, Gorman says Gynendra has intended to stay around, “Siri has been relieved and is now a problem for someone else.”
