Audi is officially getting into the holiday spirit. The automaker recently shared a short video on its Audi USA Instagram Page that reimagines Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer Instead of flying reindeer with die-cast cars drifting through the snow. It’s cute as hell.
The one-minute, 40-second clip, titled “Holiday game, Audi Way“full of miniature versions of Audi’s most iconic vehicles — production cars, race cars, and beloved classics alike. The cars slide down icicles, build snowmen, and generally have a great old time together.”
The video opens with a close-up of an Audi Q8 pulling out of an adorable gingerbread garage. From there, familiar siblings like the RS6 Event, RS3, and A6 e-tron quickly join the fun. Of course, it wouldn’t feel like a proper Audi holiday party without the brand’s legendary race cars. Dakar Racer, Original Quattro, R10 TDI, and many others.
The finale brings everything together as the die-cast cars head to a massive gingerbread mansion, where they proudly flaunt Audi’s glowing four-color logo. This is just a fun little video to get gearheads into the holiday spirit. Check it out below:
And in case you’re wondering—no, it’s not AI-infiltrated. Audi confirmed that the video was created using real die-cast cars and a full production crew. The company even shared some behind-the-scenes photos showing how carefully each scene was shot, highlighting the time and effort that went into creating this stop-motion goodness.
Knowing the difficulties of stop motion, it’s hard to imagine how long this project might have taken to complete. But the result speaks for itself. As of this writing, the video has already generated 411,000 views.
