For China, the Audi name All Caps Brand is actually closed for a strong start. It took only half an hour to take more than 10,000 orders from the newly established Audi. The E5 sports, which does iconic 4 without rings, produce local partnership with SAIC. The current SAIC-Volkswangen Plant in Shanghai, Anting, is built at the plant, this car is special to the world’s largest market.
Ralph Brandistter, a member of the VW Board for China Linked After Audi opened the order books, the E5 Sportback response was to describe the response as “tremendous”. The latest player in China’s Hyper Competition Market will only sell EVs with two additional models over the next two years. For those of us outside China, E5 sports looks significantly cheap. The price of the twenty version is equal to 000 33,000 and with a 76 kW battery pairs of the same reproduced motor. Output is classified 295 horsepower, with a range of 384 miles (618 km) on the CLTC cycle.

Despite its low cost, Audi has not cut the corners on the features. E5 Sportback offers rear wheel steering, adaptive air suspension, 800 volt charging, and even a leather setup. According to local tastes, a pillar in the cabin dominates a 27 -inch 4K display, with a pair of side camera screens flickering. Of course, such a car will cost more thanks to revenue in the United States or Europe, it is not that it is leaving China anyway.
Beyond sunglasses and prices, the least design and screen heavy interior helps distinguish it from the global audi model. Without large letters, we honestly do not recognize E5 sports as an audi, or an audi. It will probably not cope with beauty, but hey, at least it’s not any other SUV.
The launch of a separate brand from Audi is a bold move for the Volkswagen Group. Who is it for? According to Brandster, the purpose of the Audi is “reaching other new customer groups in China, which we have not covered in the first four circles.” The response to the launch has been strong, but in China’s brutal EV market, only time will tell whether the audience can develop a long -standing niche.
