The battlefield 2042 introduced the portal map tools to the franchise. But later this year, the battlefield will take things forward with a new toll set of mapping for the coming 6 shooters. Now, Dys and EA have shared a video that offers a brief glimpse in the new portal mode and what it is bringing to the table.
New portal mode allows players to make, distribute and run their custom maps with more options than ever before. One of the new tools is a local editor that is powered by Godot that gives creators an opportunity to edit maps and revolve around the elements already existing. The portal also includes Customs and AI scripting that allows players to create unique UI and direct NPC fighters in their battlefields. Any experience with the portal will be available to other players through the community section.
The portal will also include editors who allow players to change the game rules. This includes the ability to establish a shot killings, closed weapons and many others. What is more interesting is that player development and XP Gain are fully functional during portal mode.
The EA and the Dice also indicated that several maps would be added to the launch after the game. But for now, there are nine maps that will be available at the launch. These places include New York, Egypt and Gibraltar, with tons of destructive elements. The players will not be able to destroy every building on the map, but there are many structures that can go down during the war and reinforce the map.
A single player campaign will be launched for the battlefield 6, and the classic field will return along with weapons and gadgets related to the Soldier Classes-Medicine, Medicine, Support and Rackone-Class.
The battlefield 6 is already alive, and the open son of the game will start on August 7 and will continue during different periods this month. EA on October 10 Xbox Series X | S, PlayStation 5, and PC will release battlefield 6.
