Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card is rolling out its welcome bonus for new cardholders just in time for New Year’s travel resolutions. If your budget is in line with high spending needs, the latest offers can provide great value towards your next trip.

New cardholders are eligible to receive this sign-up offer: Once you spend $10,000 on purchases in the first 6 months from account opening – $10,000 in spend.
This is significantly higher than the previous bonus: 75,000 bonus miles when you spend $4,000 on purchases in the first 3 months from account opening, equal to $750 in travel. You’ll have to spend more than twice as much to earn it, but you’ll have twice as much time to do it.
Miles can be redeemed for statement credit against travel purchases, for travel bookings through Capital One, transfers to airline or hotel partners, and for gift cards, to name a few options. Each mile costs 1 percent when redeemed for statement credit or bookings through Capital One, and potentially more when you transfer and redeem them through partners. In short, the bonus can cover a large portion of your vacation expenses.
