Leading these hires are James Thomas, chief AI officer, and Aming Jain, executive vice president of technology and product management. Together, they bring world-class expertise in AI strategy, legal technology, and enterprise product management. His leadership focuses on Contract Podai’s innovation and drives the delivery of secure, enterprise-ready solutions through Leah.
James Thomas Contract joins Podai from KPMG, where he was a partner, global head of legal technology and CTO of KPMG Law UK. At KPMG he led the firm’s global legal technology strategy, designing, building, building and deploying innovative solutions, including GENAI tools, to a global network of 4,000 legal professionals in more than 80 jurisdictions. With a rare combination of experience, James brings a decade of leadership in legal innovation and technology and is also a former software engineer and corporate lawyer. James has previously been recognized by the Financial Times as one of the top 10 legal engineers/legal technologists in the world and his unique background combining law and engineering will lead to accelerating product, technology, and AI strategic alignment, strengthening Contract Podai’s market position and delivering lasting value for our customers.
Umang Jain Brings a proven track record of scaling platforms, driving digital transformation, and building high-performing teams. Most recently, as VP of Product and Platform at Gossip, he helped scale the platform to global growth and launch AI-powered solutions in conversational AI and analytics. Prior to Gossip he led multi-billion dollar digital transformation initiatives as CIO and CTO in healthcare and education. At Contract Podai, he will be responsible for aligning its product and technology strategy to accelerate growth, strengthen its market position and deliver breakthrough solutions for its customers.
To further support this growth, Contract Podai has also added senior leaders in operations, marketing and sales, including:
Ram Jagadeesan, Senior Vice President of Operations – Ram has held leadership roles at Cognizant, Scullum and IGET Global (now Capgemini), and most recently served as Chief of Staff to the Global CEO at Burlasoft. He will work closely with the executive team to strengthen governance, improve efficiency and enable growth as Contract Podai continues its global expansion.
Alison Classen, Senior Vice President of Demand Generation – Alison brings extensive experience scaling global marketing programs, including building a multimillion-dollar pipeline at Zeta Global and growing organic revenue at Think3. Ellison will lead Podai’s demand generation strategy, driving sales, product marketing, and customer success as well as forecasting growth.
Lauren Mandel, vice president of brand and communications. Lauren joins from DailyPay, where she helped scale the fast-growing fintech platform. Lauren also held leadership positions at top agencies including R/GA, Gray, and BBDO working with brands such as Samsung, Verizon, PwC, and IBM. At Contract Podai, she will strengthen market presence through compelling content, media engagement, and influencer assets for the brand.
Anna Forbes, Vice President of the Global Alliance – Anna most recently led the CLM Partner Strategy at Consilio (formerly Psych), where her team won multiple Year of the Year awards. She will lead the expansion and strengthening of ContractPodai’s global partner network, shaping its vision for the alliance and ensuring partnerships deliver consistent value to customers.
Vic McCo, General Manager of AI Sales – Joining from Google, Vic brings extensive experience in enterprise adoption of cloud and AI technologies. With a strong record of enabling customers to innovate through AI, Vic will be responsible for advancing ContractPodai’s mission to transform legal, procurement and sales flows across the enterprise.
