PlayStation’s DualSense Edge wireless controller for PS5 and PC is on sale at Amazon for $160 ($200). This deal is only available for the original white/black version of the premium controller. This is the lowest price ever for the DualSense Edge, but we expect the offer to end soon. In late October, Amazon had a $165 deal that disappeared within hours.
Meanwhile, an early Black Friday sale at Walmart has the white/black and midnight black editions for $178, but those deals will also sell out.
DualSense Edge is to PS5 what Elite Series 2 is to Xbox. If you can stomach the price—even with this deal it’s about $100 more than a standard PS5 controller—the DualSense Edge is a fantastic controller for PS5 and PC. Along with the features found in the original, DualSense Edge has the following key features:
- Two pairs of replacement pedals
- Three pairs of rod caps: standard, long dome, low dome
- Trigger locks with three stop points
- Two customizable function buttons for menu/settings
- Luted USB-C cable with optional connector housing
- Hard Shell Carrying Case

You can read an in-depth breakdown of the DualSense Edge below. We’ve also included a list of limited edition DualSense controllers you can buy today. PlayStation released five new limited-edition PS5 controllers in October—two of them are in stock at Amazon, and four are available at Walmart—so you’ve got plenty of tempting options.
White: $160 (was $200) | Black: $178 (was $200)

The improved build quality of the DualSense Edge is immediately apparent when you grip the controller. It combines all the cool tech from a standard controller with premium, interchangeable components and useful input customization options.
The PlayStation Pro Style controller includes two different sets of repositionable back pedals. It has traditional pedals that feel very similar to the Elite Series 2. The other two paddles are small semi-skulls. You can only connect one pair at a time, but both designs are solid.
Paddles can be changed in seconds. The hot-swappable design extends to three different styles of analog sticks. Instead of attaching magnetically like the Elite Series 2, the stick caps click into place.
It retains the dual-sense adaptive triggers while adding switches that change the travel distance. Including the default setting, there are three stopping points. A highly binding configuration effectively turns triggers into buttons.
Two programmable function buttons that can be used to cycle through 30 custom profiles as well as other settings such as audio volume.
Profiles can be created in the DoubleSense Edge settings menu on PS5 or with the PlayStation Accessories app on PC. You can remap all the buttons, adjust stick and trigger sensitivity, create dead zones, change the intensity of adaptive stimuli and haptic feedback, and save all these settings to custom profiles. You can then assign these profiles to function buttons, allowing you to quickly switch between setups during play.
DualSense Edge syncs wirelessly to PS5, PC, Mac, and mobile devices via Bluetooth. For competitive players who prefer wired connections, the Dual Sense Edge comes with a removable lock. For a braided USB-C cable that prevents you from accidentally disconnecting the cord from the controller port. Just like with standard DualSense, adaptive trigger feedback and haptics are usually reserved for wired mode on a PC.
The controller and all components are neatly stored in the included hardshell carrying case. The Double Sense Edge was previously only available in a combo white/black design, but PlayStation launched a midnight black edition earlier this year.
It’s also worth noting that the Xbox Elite Series 2 is on sale for $140 ($200) at Walmart and Target. Amazon had this deal last week but sold out through November 14.
Limited Edition DualSense Controllers
The new Astrobot Joyful Double Sense Controller launched on October 30th, just a week after the 20th Anniversary Edition of God. PlayStation also launched exclusive DualSense from the first retailer to be sold on a store called PlayStation Direct. Icon Blue Double Sense is only available at Walmart and was discontinued on October 29th after selling out on launch day (October 20th).
At the beginning of October, PlayStation launched two different versions of the UT Limited Edition Double Sense. Ghost of UT Gold Double Sense is sold at all major retailers, while Ghost of UT Black Edition is exclusive to PlayStation Direct.
