
Epic Games has run a few “buy this game on the Epic Games Store and get Fortnite skin” promotions over the years, but it looks like the Fortnite creator has decided to do more of the same in 2026, starting with Resident Evil Requiem and Crimson Desert in March. EGS general manager Steve Ellison announced in January that the company hopes to offer more than 100 of these deals each year. This is quite a ramp-up, as Fortnite rarely had one or more of these types of promos running at once in the past.
Many of these deals will offer skins, but some of them will focus on gaming collab accessories – like Dumb Ways to Die, a mobile game, which offers back billing and an emote. While that particular promo is over, you can expect at least some upcoming collaborations to be of a similar scale, especially with cheaper indie games.
