“Wonder Woman” star Gal Gadot is looking to make a superhero-sized profit on her picturesque Malibu, CA, home after listing the elegant property for $8.75 million—nearly $4 million more than she paid for the oceanfront pad just five years ago.
Gadot, 40, and her husband, Jaron Varsano, purchased the three-bedroom dwelling for $5 million in December 2020, completing the deal via a trust that is named for the actress’s grandfather, property records show.
However, in the years since, they have carried out extensive renovations to the three-bedroom, three-bathroom dwelling, which is located on Pacific Coast Highway just a mile away from the Malibu neighborhood that was decimated by the California wildfires in January 2025.
Images of the home taken before Gadot and Varsano bought the home reveal it had a very traditional aesthetic, complete with white walls, wooden accents, and simple, clean features in all of the rooms.
However, the main living space has since been transformed, with the actress and her spouse giving it a much more organic, moody feel achieved through the installation of dark wood floors, limewashed ceilings, and other natural materials that help to bring the outdoors into the home.

Meanwhile, the balcony was outfitted with a glass railing to ensure uninterrupted views of the ocean.
Perched directly on the beach, the property’s jaw-dropping vistas can be enjoyed from the enormous balcony that spans the length of the building’s rear or from inside the elegantly decorated living space, which features a wall of glass.
“Seamless indoor-outdoor living defines the coastal experience,” the listing description notes.
Steps down to the living room help to create some separation between the space and the open-plan kitchen, which boasts a sizable island capable of seating up to five people, as well as a dining space that has been accessorized with a stunning midcentury modern-inspired table.
Two L-shaped couches frame the living space, which also features its own fireplace to add another level of comfort and charm.
Outside, the property’s balcony has ample room for sitting and dining areas, with the current configuration also set up to include a firepit for cozy evenings under the stars.
“Every detail has been thoughtfully curated with exceptional finishes and a clean, modern aesthetic that embodies sophisticated Malibu living,” the listing goes on.
In addition to the stunning scenery, the home’s location also boasts impressive proximity to several popular Malibu hot spots, including high-end eatery Nobu, the Malibu Pier, Soho House’s Little Beach House, and the Malibu Beach Inn at Carbon Beach.
Yet for all of that convenience, the home still affords its residents ultimate privacy, the listing notes, thanks to a very high-tech security system that includes a gated entryway and a secure parking area.
While Gadot has not revealed her reasons for selling the property, it’s thought that the dwelling was only ever used as a weekend getaway by the actress—who shares four daughters with her husband: Alma, 14, Maya, 8, Daniella, 4, and Ori, 1.

Four years before purchasing their Malibu hideaway, Gadot and Varsano purchased an enormous primary residence in the tony Beverly Crest community in Beverly Hills, records show.
The couple paid $5.55 million for the expansive estate, which—much like their oceanfront abode—comes complete with staggering views, courtesy of its hilltop perch.
That dwelling, which features five bedrooms, also offers far more space for the family, sprawling across 4,300 square feet, while their Malibu abode boasts less than 2,000 square feet of living space.
And what their primary residence is lacking in ocean access, it more than makes up for in impressive amenities and craftsmanship, with a previous listing revealing that it features a custom-built “knife-edge pool and spa,” as well as an outdoor kitchen, firepit, and multiple terraces.
The property is also located at the end of a cul-de-sac, ensuring ample privacy.
Gadot, who received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2025, has a busy year ahead, with multiple projects in the works, including her highly anticipated movie about Egyptian pharaoh Cleopatra, in which she will play the titular character.
In a 2023 Vogue interview about the project, the actress revealed that she had always had a fascination with Cleopatra, having heard so many stories about her as a child growing up in Israel.
“Israel borders Egypt, and I grew up with so many stories about Cleopatra, and she’s like a household name,” she told the Hong Kong version of the fashion publication.
“You know, if Wonder Woman is the imaginary strong female leader, Cleopatra’s actually the real one. That’s a perfect example of a story that I wanted to tell because I started reading different books about Cleopatra, and I said, ‘Wow, that’s fascinating.’
“All I ever saw in regards to Cleopatra from film was that she was this seductive woman who had an affair with Julius Caesar and Marc Anthony. But the truth is, there’s so much more to her.”
