A former Western Virginia volunteer has been convicted for cheating after burning his house and misusing the department’s credit card, he has been sentenced to 33 months in prison.
A federal judge decided that Donald A. Anis, 44, of St. Albans, will also have to pay 3 513,000 in compensation to his insurance company and Volunteer Fire Fire Department of Kanawa County. After being released from jail, Eins will face three years of supervision.
In 2021, Ennis received 120,825 for insurance payments and contents at his home for $ 161,100 for a fraudulent residence, a US lawyer in the southern district of West Virginia said last year.

The Fire Department was partially funded by the County County Commission.
Prior to his sentence, his federal public guard lawyer argued for softening and presented a memorandum to the court.
