Foxkin is apparently on the way to design and manufacture of electric vehicles for two unavoidable Japanese companies. Taiwan’s electronics maker has expressed interest in cooperating with Nissan, but Foxkin chairman Ying Liu did not mention which companies are being considered.
Fox Taiwan It is reported that Liu said last week that the company plans to sign contracts within the next two months for its design and manufacturing services. Liu revealed just before the end of the Honda-Human integration in February that Foxkin was interested in working with Nissan. He said the company wants to provide its services instead of getting Nissan.

Now that Nissan has a new CEO, not only is the Honda integration back to the table, but the struggling automaker can be far more open for additional deals because he tries to fix his financial affairs, and Foxkin may prove to be a solid partner. The electronics company, officially known as the Hun High Pressure Industry Company, wants to extend its EV operations, headed by the former Nissan Executive June Ciese.
The chairman of the Foxkin also said that the company plans to start the preparation of its model CEV in North America by the end of this year, which it had earlier announced in 2021. Foxkin’s interest in electric vehicles also threatens to be established like Nissan, who is still struggling during a growing competition from China. Nissan’s trouble is well known, the company has taken drastic measures during the last year to reduce costs.
