Alex Katozian, the Group General of Qualcomm for Mobile, Compute and XR, invited Sameer Sawat to talk about Google’s ambitions for AI. But after some restrictions on AI’s help on phones, watches and smart glasses, it gave importance to the conversation: “Let’s change the context and talk about productivity on a big screen computer environment.”

During an important conversation with Qualcomm CEO Cristiano Amon at its Snapdragon Summit this week, Google’s Devices and Services SVP, Rick Austrooh, said, “In the past, we are always building on the PCS and we are preparing a lot of different systems on the smartphones.”
“We are building a common technical basis for our products on the PC and desktop computing systems,” he added. “This is another way that we can take advantage of all these major tasks by bringing our AI stack, bringing the gymnasium to the Gemini model, bringing assistant, bringing all our applications and the developer into the PC domain.
“I think this is another way in which Android will be able to serve everyone in the category of every computing.”
Amon added that “he has seen it, it is incredible. It provides the vision of the Mobile and the PC Convener. I can’t wait to be one.”

Australia did not confirm how Google would market these changes. This happened a few months after Google’s Sameer Samat, the president of the Android Eco System, told Tech Radar that he had planned to add “Chromos and Android to the same platform.

For now, tampering with Android’s future on the computing hardware of Ostroh may suggest that we will hear the full Google project soon rather than soon.
