On Thursday, a helicopter crashed in the Hudson river, killing all six people, the latest incident in recent months, which has given rise to confidence in the protection of US aviation.
“At this time, all six victims have been removed from the water,” said New York City Mayor Eric Adams.
City officials said passengers, including three children, were from Spain. The accident also killed the pilot.

An eyewitness told the Associate Press that he saw that the helicopter was being separated in the mid, while another said that the plane was roaming uncontrollable as soon as it was falling.
The helicopter flight path, which began at a helicopter near Wall Street, shows the group before it turned to the statue of Liberty and then to George Washington Bridge in the north.
“We are destroyed,” said Michael Roth, chief executive officer of the New York helicopter. “We regret what happened, and we are working with investigators.”
The Federal Aviation Administration said it could not confirm the number of people on the board, but said that it would be investigated that the National Transportation Safety Board, along with Bell 206 helicopters, had done. NTSB said in a statement that it was collecting information.
Earlier on Thursday, a passenger jet carrying at least six members of the Congress was carried out by another commercial aircraft at the Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport near Washington DC. The incidents are trusting in the security of the US aviation system following a deadly mid -clash between a US military helicopter and regional passenger jet near Reagan Airport in January.
Several helicopters have crashed around New York City. A helicopter entered the East River during a tour of the river in 2018, killing five people and preventing seats with security issues.
“It is obviously a tragic situation,” said Jersey City’s Mayor Steven Fluop. “But it would be a great conversation that we are doing all this from a safety point of view how the area is inhabited.”
