Hilaria Baldwin is attempting to leverage her Instagram following to help her and Alec Baldwin in their desperate hunt for a buyer for their $20 million Hamptons mansion—turning to the social media platform to share a personal promo video for the sprawling property.
The 42-year-old mother of seven and her actor spouse, 67, have spent close to four years trying to sell their 10-acre Amagansett dwelling, which they first listed for the sky-high price of $29 million in 2022.
Since then, the impressive abode has bounced on and off the market multiple times, as the Baldwins have yo-yoed on their decision to sell it. During that time, the price has been lowered drastically, with the most recent listing on Dec. 3 featuring a $21 million ask that was lowered to $19.99 million within weeks of it going live.
But that discount does not appear to have done the trick—and the home, which Alec bought for just $1.75 million in 1995, has remained on the market for the lower price since Jan. 7.
Now, Hilaria is taking matters into her own hands by appealing to her 1 million Instagram followers to help her and Alec—who also own a palatial apartment in New York City—find new owners for their “piece of paradise.”

In a video posted to her account, which Hilaria filmed herself, the former “Dancing With the Stars” contestant touts her favorite features of the property, including its proximity to the beach, the privacy, the size of the parcel, and the many memories that she and her family have made there.
“You know how much we love the Hamptons, we’ve made the most amazing memories in our home,” she begins the clip—before explaining that they only decided to sell the property because the family is “off on a new adventure” that she cannot yet disclose the details of.
“We spend the summers in our pool. We go down to the beach which is really close to where we are. The kids go to camp there. … It is such an amazing, beautiful place,” she continued.
She then shared the details of their listing agent, Scott Bradley with Saunders & Associates, before urging her followers to scroll through the images of the property included in her post—while noting that the link to the listing has been added to her bio.
“Our family is going to go off on a new adventure, which means we are selling our Hamptons home,” she wrote in the accompanying caption. “It’s bittersweet because we have made so many amazing memories there, and we are excited for our next chapter! While we are sad to leave it, we know the next owners will love it just as much as we do … so I wanted to share it here … it really is a piece of paradise.
“Link in my bio and you can contact Scott Bradley at Saunders & Associates with any questions.”
It is not the first time that the couple has tried to use their celebrity status to help them in their quest to find a buyer; in January 2024, Alec appeared in a promotional video for the property that was posted to YouTube by their listing agent.
In the clip, the actor was seen strolling around in the local community, before discussing his favorite memories and features about the property.

The real estate agent—who was familiar with the Baldwin property—added that the home itself would likely be viewed by many buyers as a fixer-upper because it requires a number of updates.
But again, that tactic failed to lure in anyone willing to fork out for the property—which was listed for the lower price of $18.99 million at the time.
On paper, the couple’s five-bedroom abode appears to offer everything someone might be looking for in an idyllic Hamptons escape, including ample space on the parcel for expansion, including the addition of a tennis court and a guesthouse, as well as an area that has been earmarked as a potential spot for an equestrian stable.
According to the listing, plans for an extension to the primary residence have also been drawn up, which would add “two more bedrooms, plus a formal dining room, sunroom, and a large screened-in porch.”
The property already comes complete with a huge eat-in kitchen, a private wood-paneled library, a movie theater, and a wine tasting room, as well as outdoor entertaining spaces, including a pool and a pavilion with a fireplace.
However, real estate experts have previously revealed that there may be other barriers in place that are preventing a prospective buyer from coming forward.
The first, according to Jenny Lenz, managing director of Dolly Lenz Real Estate, is its location, which she said was “not considered prime for most buyers.”
“While Amagansett is trendy and idyllic, this property is north of the highway and off the beaten path, yet it’s priced as if it’s on a prime street in East Hampton or Southampton,” Lenz explained in July 2024, when the home was still listed for just under $19 million.

“The house is quite dated for the current market,” she said. “Buyers in this area are looking for more modern styles and either new construction or recently renovated homes.”
Lastly, there was the “ick” factor that Lenz said comes from the home’s association with a celebrity couple who are as polarizing as Alec and Hilaria.
The home’s first appearance on the market in 2022 came just a few months after Alec was involved in a deadly October 2021 shooting on the set of his movie “Rust” in which cinematographer Halyna Hutchins was killed after a live round was fired from a gun that the actor was using as a prop.
Alec was initially charged with involuntary manslaughter in January 2023, along with armorer Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, and while prosecutors ultimately dismissed all charges against him, the stigma surrounding the actor—and his home—remained, according to Lenz.
“The celebrity connection is likely a drawback for most buyers in this case,” Lenz said in July 2024. “Typically, a property associated with an A-list star would command a premium. However, given the negative publicity surrounding [him] … [his] connection and active participation in marketing the home is probably a detriment and clients have suggested it has an ‘ick’ factor.”
Hilaria has also had her fair share of negative publicity in recent months after she was revealed as one of several celebrities who competed in the latest season of “Dancing With the Stars.”
She was the fourth contestant to be eliminated, despite achieving consistently high scores from the judges, and later said during an Instagram Live that she had been “bullied off the show.”
She later clarified her comments during an appearance on the podcast “Too Much,” telling host Emma Paige Klipstein that she felt some viewers had taken part in a targeted campaign to have her removed from the show.
“They’re gonna vote for all the couples besides me, or besides X person. So that suppresses your fan vote,” she said, claiming that she had seen videos on TikTok in which users encouraged others to take part in this so-called plot.
“And I don’t care. I’ll be the person who’s crying in front of the world because I’m gonna show my humanity. Some people are gonna like that and some people are gonna make fun of me more for that,” she added.
