On Thursday, Hong Kong’s Central Business District and an outdoor airport hit a flood of violent blows and heavy rainfall, the city once again issued its most rained warning when a tropical storm podul passed through the region.
Since midnight, some parts of Hong Kong have received 400 mm (15.7 inches), which disrupts flights and schools are closed for the day. The fifth time, a black rain warning was issued, which broke a record earlier this month when the city was long hit by floods.
The signal was implemented for more than three hours before the red rain warning was reduced after 11am local time. When this system enters the mainland China, the podul has been weakening.
