The Wild Oak Rench of the Heath Vacation Club in San Antonio, Texas, offers a deserted, nature -based escape that makes Texan feel authentic. It is sitting on a wide 39 acres of property, which is about 15 miles away from both airports and tourists, such as Alamo, and has a restaurant, a slow river and a trail of nature.
Although it is far from the city’s stir and stir, there is no shortage of work. As a domestic texin, I felt as if the property’s focus and entertainment activities were a warm welcome.

Officially not heyat, but Hait is booked with points
Although Heat is the name of Hait at the Vacation Club, it is a separate entity from Higher Hotels and Resorts that offers time -share ownership. If you do not have a time -share, you can also pay the stay with cash or use The world of hat -points.
Hait Hotel falls into one of the eight types. The higher the category, the greater the points to stay there. The Wild Oak Rench is a category 4 hotel, so rooms will usually start at 15,000 points, though you may be snatched at a peak rate of 12,000 points. A peak night will cost 18,000 points. Between June and September 2025, I found the night rate between $ 160 for a sharp night and 2222 for a peak night.

For example, if you have Chase Sapphire Priority CardYou can travel by chase at a rate of 1.25 cents. If you transfer these points to Hait instead and book an off -pack room that usually costs $ 160, your points will cost more than 1.3 cents.
Location
The Wild Oak Rench is well within the city limits, but this tactic feels very deserted and provides a good escape from the crowd in the city of San Antonio.

Although you do not have the same experience in a city resort as you are in small countries in Texas, this place cannot be defeated. It is quite incredible to have a large hotel property with a lot of outdoor activities near the airport, and a famous grocery chain located in the city is just a 10 -minute drive to the nearest Heb.
Room
Wild Oak Rank rooms are in size from studios to three bedrooms. All the switches have a complete kitchen and balcony and most have washer and dryer. The studio rooms have a kitchen.

I lived in a bedroom suite and was surprised with a pleasant surprise how widespread it was. Depending on it when you book, night prices can have about $ 200 to $ 300. Cash will probably be a better option for this room, as you will need 21,000 to 27,000 hits points to stay here.

Dinner
Since most rooms have full kitchen, this hotel is definitely ready to cook more than meals. But there is a restaurant on the property, JB’s polyside restaurant, which has comfortable, pub -shaped vibes and offers southwestern food. There is nothing particularly unique about the restaurant fare, but I enjoyed the tacos that I ordered.

Playground
The resort includes 39 acres of nature, the Nature Trail, the Firepat Area, the Indoor/Outdoor Pool, a slow river and lawn games.

Although you can swim out for many years of the year in San Antonio, I like the pool warm and partly both warm and partly inside the house. Even if you are unhealthy when you visit, you will still be able to swim.

But my favorite feature, so far, is the lazy river. Although it was a man -made pond, the trees linked to this path reminded me to swim 45 miles north of New Brunphillus.

Certainly, you won’t find such a surprising scene in the sluggish river, but you can’t even order the cocktail while floating Gadalap. Just my complaint: It was a bit difficult to snatch an adult size tube.

You can order drinks from your phone directly on the pond and lazy river. I ordered a Margareta and was surprised by the quality and overall taste of the ingredients. Polyside drinks are rare that can withstand something from fancy cocktail bar.
Encouragement
The Wild Oak Rench also offers activities that will enjoy children and adults. During our journey, we learned a resin -making class, texas wine -tasting wine, and ways to make Guachesol and Tartures.
Like any self-esteem Taxine, I have been making a guarantee since childhood (though I will never say and eat more-more). But I liked the Terla making class. I have made tartles before, but they have always been very tough. The instructor taught us how to make a soft, chair flour tartles by adding baking soda.

Is it worth seeing?
If you are going to San Antonio for its full history, staying in the city will be close to action and will provide you with more experience of San Antonio. But if you are primarily looking for calm holidays, the Wild Oak Rench allows you to enjoy nature with all the convenience of living in the city. Texas will probably feel immediate familiarity with the design and activities of this hotel, while people outside the state will never find a piece of lone star estate without leaving the foundation.
