The new Delta Sky Club in the B concourse at Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC) manages to feel cozy and intimate, even though it’s huge.
At nearly 34,000 square feet with seating for 600 guests, it is the second largest Delta Sky Club, just behind the lounge at New York’s LaGuardia Airport. But the nature-inspired design and views of the mountains in Utah make travelers feel like they’re outside the walls of the airport.
While it doesn’t have showers or a sky deck with outdoor seating, it does have amenities like multiple phone booths and panoramic screens that show dramatic views of the state.
NerdWallet was invited to check out the Salt Lake City Delta Sky Club at Concourse B before it opens to the public on October 27, 2025.
Delta Sky Club location in SLC
There are two Delta Sky Clubs in Salt Lake City: one in Harmony and one in Beacon. The new Delta Sky Club is part of a major expansion of B Concourse at SLC.
To get to the B concourse, you’ll have to walk – or rather, a group of walkways – through a tunnel that connects the two concourses. It’s a seven-minute trip if you use the moving walkways, and the Delta Sky Clubs are conveniently located just above the escalators from the tunnel in both Cocors.
At Concourse B, once you come up the escalator from the tunnel, you have to make a U-turn. The Delta Sky Club is located to the left of the dinosaur fossil display.
How to get to Delta Sky Club
SkyTeam Airline Premium Cabin Passengers.
Delta Diamond, Platinum or Gold members travel internationally in Delta Premium Select or Delta One.
You’ll also need a same-day boarding pass for a Delta flight or an eligible flight on a partner airline.
Design
You will enter the lounge from the ground floor, where you can check in at the kiosk, before following the windows to the right by the escalators. In front of the escalators is a wall that actually hides a row of phone booths. This is handy if you need to pop into the lounge to make a quick call and want privacy from the main floor of the lounge.
The main floor is rectangular, with side and corner view floor-to-ceiling windows that offer glimpses of the mountains and downtown Salt Lake City on a clear day.

Windows on the other side of the lounge overlook the symmetry, making the space feel even larger.

The fireplace in the center of the room is not big enough to be called the center of the lounge, but it has an effect on the cozy atmosphere of the lounge.

Copper reds and deep blues throughout the lounge also have a warm, calming effect, inspired by the red rocks and blue lakes in Utah.

Visitors will find a wide variety of seating and tables, from long wooden conference tables to curved, two-sided armchairs. Each seat has a power outlet for easy charging.
Food and beverages

This Delta Sky Club only has one buffet, but it’s big enough to offer a variety. During the tour there were salads, sandwiches, soups, hot meals, a charcuterie station, fruit and dessert. The meats, like the chicken thighs and pork shoulder, were tasty and not dry at all.
At either end of the lounge are two beverage stations with espresso machines, Starbucks coffee on tap, tea, soda machines and water. There’s also a “dirty soda” bar unique to this Delta Sky Club, where people can add flavored syrups to their sodas to create a custom non-alcoholic drink.

The bar also offers a variety of beers, wines and spirits, although the complimentary drinks list is somewhat limited. Premium drinks range from $4.50 for a draft beer to $12 for an Old Fashioned, and you have the option of paying for alcohol with Delta SkyMiles.
Facilities
Phone booth

This Delta Sky Club has a total of nine phone booths. Six are on the first floor behind the art wall. The other three are on the main level past the buffet.
Immersion wall

Another unique facility is the “Digital Immersion Wall”. It’s a movie theater-like space at the end of the lounge, with large screens showing panoramas of some of Utah’s most iconic scenery. If you’re sitting close enough, you can hear snow falling or birds chirping.
The bathroom
Bathrooms in this lounge also feel upscale with oversized mirrors and wood paneling. The bathroom products are from Delta’s partner, Big Alchemist.

There are no showers in this lounge, but there are plenty of bathroom stalls, including 14 in the women’s restroom.
Final Thoughts on Delta Sky Club SLC
The Delta Ski Club in Salt Lake City does a good job of taking in the natural beauty of the city’s surroundings with the comfort of a high mountain lodge. If you’re flying through Salt Lake City and have access to the Delta Sky Clubs, it’s definitely worth a look — even if it means going through the tunnel to the B-course via the runway.
