Pittsburgh Steelers star Aaron Rodgers put his longtime Wisconsin mansion on the market for $3.7 million, just over two years after he was traded to the New York Jets by the Green Bay Packers.
The 41-year-old pro footballer listed his four-bedroom, 4.5-bathroom dwelling in Hobart, WI, on Nov. 10 for more than double the price he paid for the abode back in March 2015.
When the athlete picked up the property for just over $1.7 million, he had just completed an MVP-winning season with the Packers—a team he spent 18 seasons playing for, from 2005 to 2022.
It’s understood that the home served as Rodgers’ primary residence for the next seven years, until he was traded to the Jets—with whom he spent just two seasons, before signing with the Steelers.
The lavish house certainly offered plenty of luxury for Rodgers to enjoy during the height of his NFL career, boasting more than 10,500 square feet of living space on a 5.32-acre lot that is filled with lush greenery.
According to the listing, the property is a “one-of-a-kind, custom-built all-stone estate tucked away on a very serene and private beautifully landscaped acres.”
The property—which appears somewhat unassuming from the outside—also offers ample privacy thanks to the trees that surround it on three sides, creating a natural barrier from prying eyes.
Upon entering the home, guests are greeted with an expansive living room that is adorned with carpet flooring and features wood beams on the ceiling.
There is also a cozy fireplace and large, arched window that allows for natural light to flood inside.
This isn’t the only lounging space in the dwelling, the property has another living area on the bottom floor that features carpeted flooring, two windows, and wood crown molding.
Moving into the chef’s kitchen, there is a large brick wood oven, and “chef-inspired gourmet kit with top-of-the-line appliances, a spacious walk-in pantry, a butler’s pantry,” as per the listing.
The kitchen also follows the same aesthetic as the rest of the home and is adorned in wood cabinetry, a wooden island, and hand-hewn hickory flooring.
Adjacent to the kitchen is the dining area, which comes complete with three drop lights, and enough space for a large table.

The primary bedroom is adorned in carpet flooring and has a stunning, wooden walk-in closet that is fit for a star.
There is another room that could certainly be used as the office space because it exudes luxury thanks to its large arched windows and entirely wooden ceilings.
Elsewhere, there is a laundry room that features white cabinets.
Moving into the lower level, guests are greeted with “an entertainer’s dream.”
According to the listing, there is “a billiard room with bar, an all brick theater room with built-in seating and wet bar, fitness room, steam shower and changing room.”
And, if to add to its lavish appeal, the property also has a large wine cellar that is every wine lover’s dream.
Moving to the outdoor area, there is a gorgeous patio area with a fire pit, making it the perfect spot for guests to gather outside.
There is also a large tennis court, pickleball court, and even a greenhouse for early gardening.
Rodgers has held onto the property even as he has moved teams and picked up other abodes.
He tried to sell the dwelling in 2024 for $2.8 million, however, swiftly took it off the market.
In 2023, sources told the New York Post that Rodgers had no plans to sell anytime soon because he developed a “sentimental attachment to the area.”
The property was the perfect location for Rodgers during his 18-season tenure with the Packers, during which he garnered four league MVP awards and led the team to a Super Bowl win, because it is a mere 20-minute drive from Lambeau Field.
In 2023, Rodgers was traded from the Packers to the New York Jets, where he spent two seasons until moving to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Months after leaving the Jets, he extended his professional football career by signing a one-year deal with the Steelers.
Around the same time, he also tied the knot.
According to Sports Illustrated, Rodgers recently snapped up a sprawling dwelling with a private golf setup and pool.
Rodgers also holds the keys to a $10 million New Jersey mansion he purchased when he signed with the Jets.
The football pro’s purchase of the mansion came in August 2023, just weeks before the Jets kicked off their season, with records indicating that he bought the dwelling via an LLC, paying $9.5 million for the opulent abode, which had originally been listed for $11 million.
Located in Montclair—just 10 miles from the MetLife Stadium, the Jets’ home field—the property provided a convenient and comfortable sanctuary for Rodgers during his time with the team, while also offering proximity to New York City.
His high-end home boasted every manner of amenity a celebrity of his caliber could wish for, starting with an open floor plan that featured eight bedrooms and 10 bathrooms.
Highlights included an impressive kitchen with three sinks and an island with bar seating. The living and dining areas are spacious and luxurious, and the primary suite offers a spa bath and impressive views of the New York City skyline.
There’s also a lower-level lounge, media room, wine cellar, an in-law suite, and a home gym.
Just one day before Rodgers listed the property, the Steelers lost 25-10 to the Los Angeles Chargers.
The Steelers are set to go against the Cincinnati Bengals on Nov. 16.
