Nintendo has clapped on rumors that it has used Generative AI to create some visuals at the Switch 2 Launch Title Super Mario Cart World.
“AI -generation images were not used in the development of Mario Cart World, a spokesman for Nintendo told Urugamar earlier this week.”
The rumors came to light when on social media fans identified some extraordinary imagery in the next game, following the recent official direct series of the title.
The images included a billboard that features a car that has an unrealistic proportion. Although Mario Cart is not a famous franchise for realism, some YouTube said that Nintendo used a generato AI to produce a picture.

Generative AI, while photovirialistic images are capable of producing, it is also notorious for creating visuals with a strange proportion, such as presenting humans with six fingers.
Regardless of that Nintendo used the AI generated artwork, the idea of AAA Games, a major budget that features AI assets in 2025, is not far away. The activation recently acknowledged that it used Generative AI to manufacture visual assets in the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone showed a six -funding zombie Santa. Generative AI is already being used for voice over work in major titles such as the Polish Language version of Cyberpank 2077: Phantom Liberty, and even to write dialogue in many sports.

However, it is unlikely that we will see productive AI at any time in the next Nintendo titles. In 2024 Question and answer For investors, Nintendo’s President Shintaro Frokawa eliminated the company’s idea, referring to the potential for intellectual property property, using technology for future titles.
Mario Cart World is currently released on June 5, 2025 as the launch title of Nintendo Switch 2. Perhaps it is understandable that the gamers are dealing with the details in the Mario Cart World. This is one of the highest prices recorded for a newly released video game (looking for a collector’s edition or monthly).
