We test external SSD using PC Labs’ Windows 10 storage test beds, a desktop PC that is built on the ASUS Prime X299 Delux Mother Board, which has Intel Core I9-10980XE Extreme Extreme Extreme Edition CPU and NVIDIA GeForce graphics card. We use the Mother Board’s ancestral 10GBPS USB 3.2 General 2 port to test most drives, including ultra compact SSD. 20 GBPS General 2×2 Drives L, We use a general 2×2 port included by an Oral PCI extension card.
We targeted the Sigate Ultra Compact SSD as our usual external solid estate drive benchmark, which includes the Crystal Disk Mark 6.0 Thrropop Tests, PC Mark 10 Data Drink Benchmark-Performing SSD Speed Task in which SSD has speeding results. Since this drive is presented in the excretion, which is compatible with both macs and Windows machines, we conducted the first two tests on the Apple MacBook Pro. After that, we re -shaped the drive in the NTFS to run a crystal disk mark, PC Mark 10, and 3D mark on our Windows Test bed. (Take a close look at our testing regimen here for SSD.)
Ultra Compact SSD’s Windows Test results were specific to USB 3.2 general 2 drives in our comparison group. His PC Mark 10 and 3DMRK benchmark score were both in the middle of the pack, and when his crystal disk mark score was the second less of the drives we had compared, his score on the same benchmark was the second highest. All the results were within the expected limit for the General 2 drive.
In our Black Magic Testing – which resulted in the thyrop -speed speed that results in writing and reading video in various forms on our Mac test bed, the score of ultra -compact SSD was much slower than our general 2 comparisons, with a lowest score of 25 % less than the largest scorer, less than 39 %. He released himself in our folder copy test, turning a two -second time that with this interface we expect the SSD to match several other general 2 drives for the fastest score.
Overall, although the results of ultra compact SSD were equal to other USB 3.2 general 2 drives in my Windows testing, they were significantly slower than our comparison drives in the Black Magic Mac video throw pit. It said, this SSD should be much faster than the fastest traditional USB thumb drive.
