Tesla’s Cybertruck is now more affordable than ever, with a new all-wheel drive (AWD) model starting at $59,990, while its top-end Cyber Beast has also seen a price cut. It comes at a time when Tesla is trying to boost sales of its Cybertruck following poorer-than-expected results for its most expensive range.
The new Cybertruck has two motors (front and rear), an estimated 325-mile range, adaptive suspension, two bed outlets, and other features previously missing from its cheapest rear-wheel-drive model. Tesla discontinued the option in September.
The brand’s middle ground is limited by the new, cheaper AWD model compared to the premium Cybertruck, which starts at $79,990. These include a lower towing capacity of 7,500 pounds, coil spring suspension with adaptive damping instead of air suspension, and 18-inch wheels instead of 20-inch ones.
It’s also removed some interior elements, so there are fewer speakers, lower-quality seats, and no heating or displays to see in the rear seats. Nevertheless, many of the changes here are unlikely to affect day-to-day driving, offering a similar experience to the standard model.

At the same time, Tesla also raised the price of its CyberBest top-end model to $99,990. This reverses a price increase from last year which saw Tesla raise the price of the Cyber Beast by $15,000.
Tesla has made the changes on its website, meaning those in the US can order the new version starting today or take advantage of the Cyber Beast’s price drop.

The changes come as sales of Tesla’s Cybertruck are reportedly struggling. The latest figures from Kelly Blue Book’s annual electric vehicle sales report show that Tesla sold 20,237 Cybertrucks in 2025. That’s a 48 percent drop from a year ago, when Tesla reportedly sold about 39,000 Cybertrucks.
Before the launch, Tesla said it might be able to sell 250,000 Cybertrucks per year, but it has yet to reach that level. It was previously aimed at a price under $40,000.
