This evening, the 2025 Academy Museum Gala continues in Los Angeles. Each year, the star-studded event raises funds for the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures, to support its various exhibitions, educational initiatives and public programming. This year’s co-presidents are Jon M. Cho, Common, Viola Davis, Julius Tannen, Robert Downey Jr., Susan Downey, Jennifer Hudson, and Alejandro Ramírez Magana.
Tonight, a number of celebrities will also be honored with awards, including Pueblo Cruz (Icon Award), Bruce Springsteen (Legacy Award), Walter Sales (Laminary Award), and Bowen Yang (Vantage Award). Before the ceremony begins, however, a parade of glamorous fashions will grace the red carpet. The 2024 gala hosted one of the year’s most impressive red carpets, with stars like Kendall Jenner, Nicole Kidman, Greta Lee, and a memorable array of runway, custom and archival looks.
