In the world under the influence of technology and relief, there are still companies that seek to pay tribute to real racing and legendary drivers like Arton Sena. During this year, Monterey Car was a new customs built -in British car hidden between hyper cars and event guard prototypes, which has a formula 1 Pedagers: Nicholas N1A icon 88.
The name “Nicholas” may not have the most meaning, but it deserves our attention. The car was developed by Steve Nicholas, a very engineer who designed a driven MacLarn MP 4/4 by Arton Sina and Alien Prost during the dominant season of 1988.
Technically, N1A is a racing barchate for street. The chassis has 7.0 liters of naturally desired V-8 engine, which is developed from a typical motors LS3 block, but has been fully modified with the basepic components: piston, connecting rods, dry simp system and electronic throtles. The result is 650 horsepower, which is dropped on the rear wheels through a six -speed manual transmission in the house.
However, the most impressive personality is the weight: Graphine carbon fiber body is only 1,984 pounds directly derived from the formula 1. It is translated into a proportion of 720-HP per tonne per tonne according to a real racing car personality.

The N1A’s aerodynamics were honored in my wind tunnel to create an exemplary balance between the Dowan Force and the drag. Its suspension offers a double ash bone setting with racing components, while the breaking motor autortal style is handled by multi -piston calippers. Michelle Pilot Cup 2 tires wrap around 19 inches and around the wheel of 20 inches, which gives it a serious grip.
Result? Fully analog, unmanned driving experience is designed for people who want to feel every inch of the road. Electronic AIDS is kept minimal: traction control is standard, while ABS and power steering are only available as options.
Inside, the cockpit takes clear inspiration from McLaran MP 4/4. Here a completely back -to -back driving position, the same seat, and a gearshift lever used by Arton Sena. Analog gages, machining aluminum controls, and premium leather trims create a concentrated, disturbing environment.

N1A is the first model of Nicholas cars, founded by Steve Nicholas and CEO John Manate in 2017. Their mission is to build a pure, passionate sports car without aesthetic compromise. This one that combines modern engineering precision classic design indicators. The N1A is directly influenced by the MacLaran M1A, which is the brand’s first famous racing car since the 1960s.
Nicholas is launching a car under the “Icon 88” banner, the first 15 cars pay tribute to each of the 15 victories obtained by MacLaran MP 4/4 during the 1988 F1 season. This is not only of Nicholas’ own engineering legacy, but also one of the most dominant tours in the history of Formula 1.
