The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) began implementing the remaining provisions of its “Click Two Cancer” principle on May 14, which requires that the cancellation of subscriptions be equally easy. Now, the agency says it will not enforce this principle until July 14 Takkarch Reports

Also known as the negative option roll, the major component of the click -to -cancel is that it prevents companies from leaping users who are different from the process of signing up to an account. If you can sign up online, you should also be able to cancel online. As the FTC has stated, the original deadline of May 14 was already postponed for its and its related provisions.

The agency says it has “chosen to advance its implementation even after a fresh review of the bucks, which will be forced to comply with this date.” FTC voted 3-0 for the delay, but as Takkarch Note, two of the five commissioners were absent from the votes. The reason for this is that he was fired illegally by Donald Trump in March.

Perhaps on the bright side for consumers, the FTC says, starting with the new deadline, “regular entities will have to comply with the whole principle as the commission will begin to implement it.” However, it does not refuse to change any provision of the code, writes that if “exposes any problem,” it is “open to amending the rule”.
