The current generation of ES has been going on for seven years, and despite the failed lifts in 2021 and 2024, midsized luxury Sidan is starting to show its age. Thankfully, Lexus is almost ready to unveil the eighth generation model. As the outgoing version, the official first film will be in China, where Sidan has become a lucrative class.
Prior to the premiere on April 23 at the Auto Shanghai Show, Toyota’s Premium Division is flooding its social media channels with teasers. The shade preview is with short clips indicating how ES is re -designed. Lexus is calling it a new car, which makes it understood how long the current model has been in the market. From what we can tell, this electric RZ takes some design indicators from the crossover and it seems that it has a more slope of roof line.
The additional details that we can select include Nikey Sushrooms of LED Day Time Running Lights and a whole width Rear Lite Bar. The third brake light is given under the rear glass, which suggests that the ES is made a traditional pale instead of a lift of five doors. Black black body accents and multi -spike wheels are also presented in teasers.
Lexus is bilving the new ES as a “global flagship model”, which has bothered us about the future of the big LS. The technical sugary is still under wrap, but the brand indicates in “advanced power technologies”. This means a hybrid power train, and possibly a plug -in hybrid setup, which is visible on the front fender through a charging port cap.
The Lexus marketing team also promises “Helmark’s silence and further evolution of riding, so expect more insulated cabin and Kosher suspension setup. Given the continued sugar preference for the refreshing Rear League room, especially in the wheel base, a major toe mark.
The new ES is expected to be sold in China first, followed by the end of the year or other markets in 2026.
