Orlando International Airport (MCO) in Florida (MCO) is one of a high transit centers for recreational passengers in the United States
If you are heading to Walt Disney World, Universal Orlando and other Orlando attractive places, or traveling from Port Canvar, you will most likely fly to the MCO.

As a proud Disney adult (and the recent Universal Orlando and Cruz Convert), I have flown dozens of MCOs. I have also seen MCOs making major changes in recent years.
In 2022, the airport unveiled the terminal C, which feels like a different airport (in terms of its impressive architecture and distance from the central terminal). In 2023, the airport found its own bright line station, which connected it to Miami and other locations in Florida by rail.
This airport is huge – and sometimes Orlando’s busiest theme park can feel even more crowded and chaos. What should you know about the airport?

Here is a series of MCO maps.

Map of Terminals A and B in MCO.
Terminals A and B are old in three MCO terminals. They are sitting on the opposite side of the same building.

This is a very short journey between the two terminals through Aterium at Level 3. Terminals A and B are also attached after security, so you don’t need to clean the security line again to go from one to another.

Map of MCO Terminal C
As far as going from A and B terminals to terminal C, this is a small journey. You can’t walk between the two and you have to clean the security again to go from one to another.
You can either take the terminal link, which is in the form of an automated individual that takes you to the Terminal C train station.
From there, you will run about 0.2 miles from the parking garage to terminal C.

If you don’t go through the garage, you can also take a shuttle bus that will bring you closer. Both run 24 hours a day.

Terminals A and B are widely alike. Both times can feel dark and classophobic, and both have a lack of power shops and comfortable sitting. Consider what you are coming to at the Orlando Theme Park that you are seeing.
All terminals are large, and after security, separate shuttle take you to your gate.

Terminal C, which was recently opened, is a game changer. This is a matter of Sunnat architecture and standing. Shopping here feels like an experience, and its public art is very impressive you will find in many museums.

One of the highlights is the Walt, a 360 -degree Art installation that uses the Motion Tracking Software to create an interactive experience where you can swim with underwater mines or see sunrise on the Orlando Skyline.

Even floors are art, with mosaic that give rise to Florida’s landscape.

Eating IT, he found my favorite national chains, including Shakes Shake and Chuck-Fl-A. Until now, it has been well consumed by local chefs.
I recommend Sanshine Dinner through Chef Art Smith. If you only want beverage, visit the Wine Bar George, named for Master Somaller George Milites. Disney Springs operates both Smith and Milites.

With options like them, you may be tempted to leave your flight food, even if you are flying first class.

Driving
Drivers can stand on site or save money by parking in an officeite. Some Lot EV charging and servers offer. MCO’s website Reforisted regularly to show whether a lot of things are full, and it also shows the latest parking rate.
Ride shares and shuttle
Rideshir companies such as Uber, Left, Wings and Crew Car work in the MCO and offer pickup and drop office outside the terminal.
Some offer honorary shuttle at airport hotels.

For Disney’s rides, Myers Connect is one of the most famous shuttle services. With mayors, you ride a joint vehicle (usually a charter bus), which takes you to many hotels owned by Disney as well as many people Other Disney Area Hotel (Although you will probably create some stops for all other riders).
The price of mayors’ tickets is less than $ 20 per person, which can be cheaper than a RedSier service when traveling to solo or a couple. However, since it charges per person, it will probably not be as economical for families as it is just booked Uber or left (especially if it does not cost any increase in prices).
Bright Line

Terminal C is directly connected to the Bright Line High Speed Real Station. Along the bright line, passengers can go directly from West Palm Beach, Fort Loud Dyl or even Miami directly from the terminal.

In fact, luminous line is the only high -speed intersection rail service that works from the US airport
To navigate to security in MCO

Security lines in the MCO can be longer. I have seen the waiting hours over 30 minutes. MCO maintains a website Which shows the current waiting times.

Then there is a fee -free option called MCO Reserve. Launched in 2022, it allows for any passenger Book the Security Time Slot – No membership is needed. Upon arriving at the MCO’s dedicated reserve lane, passengers scan a QR code that allows them to access a high -speed lane where they will show their boarding pass and ID – and then move forward through the usual standard TSA security screening.

Location: Terminal A (1-29 near Gates) and Terminal B (70-99 near Gates)
Club MCO has two checkpoints (one in Terminals A and B), which are either accessible Buy a day pass (About $ 55) or preferred through other lounge membership programs.

These lounges are firmly. They offer some sandwiches and pasta that serve your college cafes, but about it. Nevertheless, there is free Wi -Fi, large outlets, some plush sitting and an open bar.
If you are a passenger passenger and have honorary access to something like a preferential pass, you can also pop up a small breakfast and drink POP. But grieve your expectations if your ideal meal is more than a blend of Turkish Sandwich, with an aspect of Pratzel and animal cookies.

And on many trips, there is a weightlist just to enter. If you are considering entering from someday, you might leave it and save your money for a good restaurant meal at the airport.
Plaza Premium lounge

Location: Terminal C -level 2, after Gate 241.
Plaza Premium Most of Asia is the global network of lounges, but also in locations in Europe and in a Dallas. Orlando Plaza Premium lounge In 2023 the company’s FIL was opened as a flagship lounge, spreading at 10,000 square feet of glass windows spread over 10,000 square feet, which ignores terminal C on one side and the runway on the other.

In many ways, the lounge is quite like. I have unique and delicious dishes, including Cuba styling ground beef, stir frying veggies and chicken, temim sage rolls and various pasta.
But often, it is so full that it is almost impossible to find a seat. If you are in the terminal C and they have a preferential pass, give the pop by and the crowd. If it is filled, you can find a good meal somewhere in the terminal C.

A Universal Orlando Store in the MCO. (Photo for Sally French/Nairid Walt)
Purchases are particularly fun in any MCO terminal, including multiple stores associated with theme parks, including Walt Disney World, Sourland Orlando and Universal Orlando. There is even a store Epic universe.

The Universal and the Lando Store in the terminal C is one of the best for all the memoirs filled with, including a copy of the Hugreed Motorcycle.
All these stores sell commercial goods that are also sold in parks, which can feel like an extension of your theme park holidays while waiting for flight. I have definitely purchased a mickey plush at the Disney World Store to work as a pillow of the aircraft (which beats a buying magic in the kingdom of magic and taking it all day around the theme park).
As far as food is concerned, there are many that it is difficult to think about a major chain of fast food that is not represented in any terminal.
Heyat Regency andlando International Airport

(Photo for Sally French/Nairid Walt)
There are many airport hotels inside a short drive or shuttle riding from the airport, but Hait Regency andlando International Airport is located inside only one airport. It is a short distance away from security, terminals A and B.
Opened in 1992, it is one of some of the country’s full service airport hotels located inside the terminal. This makes it easier for the initial flight to go out of bed and in security.
The rooms neglect either interior and the runway, and sound proofing ensures amazingly comfortable sleep. There are also visuals in the roof pond.
