New, all, 000 20,000 slate trucks are unlike anything sold in the United States today. It’s too small. Like, really, really small. For example, a Honda-smaller than a person. Initially, I was thinking about the size of Slate Ford Awara, but we have to go back to the history of automotive lifting of similar size.
The slate’s electric truck is about the size of the 1984 Toyota truck. No, really. Slate truck and a short bed, single cab 1984 Toyota truck SR 5 has a total length of 174.6 inches. A Slate Auto Representative says it is fully agreed.
Dimension | Slate | Toyota |
Length | 174.6 inches | 174.6 inches |
Wheel Base | 108.9 inch | 103 inches |
Width | 70.6 inches | 66.1 inch |
Altitude | 69.3 inches | 60.1 inch |
The bed length | 75 inches | 60 inches |
Other dimensions are also close. Utah rode a 103 -inch wheel base, while slate extends things to 108.9 inches. 1984 SR 5 was 66.1 inches wide, while the newcomer is only 70.6 inches. Perhaps the biggest difference in size is in bed length and overall height. Toyota was only standing 60 inches long and had a bed of 6 % feet, while the slate is 69.3 inches tall but it has only five feet of bed. But, there is something in the slate that does not do Toyota.
It is really shocking. The smallest pickup is on the sale, and it is 200 inches long. It awakens the slate truck, as most modern vehicles do. The only thing on the slate that is much larger than the old Toyota wheels and tires – 245/65r17 vs. 195/75r14. But even according to modern standards, the slate is small.
The clean dimensions of the slate truck are a reflection of both packaging benefits that excavate internal combinations for electricity, but also boldness from the company. Along with the story, it feels like fans have said for years that they want to pick up the old, easy -to -pick. In multiple ways, it is exactly what the slate is trying to make.
