These 5 Weekend Tech Deals on TVs, Headphones, and Smartwatches Are Scary Good

Have you found your Halloween costume yet? I’m working on my job this weekend, but one thing I know I’m not afraid of is spending too much on tech. That’s because I’ve filled my bucket with five of the biggest discounts on high-end products this weekend. That’s a savings of 30% or more on the best brands out there, including Apple, Samsung, and LG. That’s a treat if I ever heard one.

A lot of people are talking about the iPhone Air, but Apple isn’t the only company that isn’t allowed to make a super-sleek cell phone. The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is their lightest mobile yet, weighing just 5.75 ounces with a beautiful vibrant AMOLED screen, titanium case and responsive buttons. In our review, analyst IYAZ Akhtar said the S25 Edge “doesn’t make any real compromises” for squeezing everything into its form factor, praising its long battery life, wide software support window and fast processor. The only knocks it had were the lack of a telephoto camera and somewhat weak speakers, but for 37%? This is a steal.

LG TV Deal

We gave an Editors’ Choice award to a larger version of this OLED set in our review, touting its incredible color, contrast and picture detail for the price. Consumer Electronics writer Will Greenwald, a man who has reviewed literally hundreds of TVs, said it’s “the best OLED TV for the price,” full stop. And when Best Buy cuts an extra $500 off that price? Don’t skip this deal. With an ultra-slim virtually bezel-free design, plenty of ports, and a powerful WebOS platform that lets you connect to streaming services as well as Apple AirPlay and Google Cast, it’ll do everything you need, though it’s better suited for small and medium-sized rooms.

The Apple Watch deal

Apple just released the third-generation Apple Watch SE, and it’s a great budget smartwatch, but if you’re looking for a real bargain, Walmart has a 32 percent price cut on the second-generation model, which we gave an “Excellent” rating in our review. The SE shares the mass app selection and security features of the mainline Apple Watch, compromising with a screen that only turns on when you need it and the subtraction of a few sensors like the electrocardiogram (ECG) and body temperature. It’s exceptional for exercise, perfect for productivity and looks stylish on your wrist.

In our 2021 review of the Logitech G ProX SuperLite, we praised its powerful HERO 25X sensor, which delivered tracking up to 25,000 dpi and accuracy up to 400 inches per second, which is pretty accurate. The slimline design only offers five buttons, but they’re comfortable and responsive, and a joy to use for long sessions. Our only complaint was the price, so this discount more than made up for that issue
