Friday the 13th is getting a pair of new 4K Blu-ray steelbooks next month. The 2009 remake was originally released on 4K Blu-ray in 2024 as a limited edition, but quickly sold out. Fortunately, a The new re-order is available on Amazon for $37.49 (was $50). Next up is Friday the 13th: Part 2 45th Anniversary Edition 4K Steelbook, which comes with a handful of new bonus features, .4 is available for pre-order for 24.49 (was $31). Both titles will release simultaneously on February 3, 2026.

The 2009 remake was a very faithful recreation of the Campari original thanks to director Marcus Nispel, who also helmed The Texas Chainsaw Massacre in 2003. This 4K Blu-ray stillbook from Arrow Video comes with a reverse sleeve with new artwork. Below are all the special features included:

Friday the 13th: Part 2 45th Anniversary Edition

Following up on the iconic original in 1981, this 45th anniversary edition of Friday the 13th: Part 2 is a two-disc set that includes a remastered version of the film and some new special features. The story picks up five years after the end of the first film, and with it another group of victims of a killer wearing a hockey mask. Here are the special features you can look forward to:

The Friday the 13th franchise is one of the most popular slasher series in the medium’s history, spawning 12 films and even a handful of video game adaptations. We’ve seen Jason go from his backwoods roots to New York City, and even a brief stint in space (yes, really). The 2009 remake reinterpreted the original story well, with every major story beat, ridiculous kill scenes, and a very faithful twist. Friday the 13th: Part 2 is a direct follow-up to the first group, with a new group of stalking after a new group for Jason.
Both films come in premium steelbook cases, and this remake print features brand new cover art by artist Gary Pullen, on one side. If you’re unfamiliar, steelbook cases are roughly the same size as a regular plastic Blu-ray case but much stiffer, and often feature alternate art and other physical bonuses. For physical media collectors, Spine looks really good on a bookshelf, and these two horror movies are no different.
