Uber Technologies Inc. and Lieutenant Inc., under a new legislative agreement for California drivers, agreed to collectively agreed to collectively deals with the guarantee of the industry’s extensive salaries and benefits for drivers of California.

The AB -1340 will not change the legal status of gig drivers as independent contractors in California, which voters approved by the 2020 industry -backed ballot measurement propop22.
The new legislative package will provide about 800 800,000 drivers a source of managing and bargaining, which will “represent the largest expansion of the private sector’s collective bargaining in California history.”

Left and Uber said the low need for insurance will improve the ability for the riders. Uber has said that insurance costs are about one -third of the total fares across the state, and Los Angeles is up to 45 % higher, the need for insurance motorcycle coverage is an important part of the total cost.
Uber has preferred to emphasize insurance reforms at the state level, and this year, lawyers and medical providers have filed three cases, accusing them of making fake insurance claims, which says the company has cost millions of legal fees.
