If you have ever painted a room with a roller, you will know the drill: sink the roller into the paint tray, roll the extra paint, apply it on the wall, then repeat these steps several times until you finish the work. The purpose of the Wagner Smart Side Cook Roller is to eliminate the painting tray and accelerate the painting process from the wall, replacing it by replacing a small pump and hose that feeds the paint directly from the cans to the roller.
After the painting work works for various desired time -researchers, I wanted to know if the side kick would help me perform the work faster or make the work unnecessarily complicated. So, I put the Wagner side kick in the test, used to paint the above hallway in my home, which looked tight with numerous conflicts and fingerprints. Side Cook quickly won me with its easy setup and smart design.

Testing Wagner Smart Sidek Roller

The wagner side kick paint roller contains a small pump that is attached to the side of 1 gallon or 5 gallon paint bucket, as well as a 16 -foot hose that is connected to the roller. This pump, which runs from a standard power cord, pushes the cans from the cans to the roller through the tube. Since the paint is pumped into the roller, it is forced into the basic part of the roller and in the brush. A button on the handle controls the flow of paint in the roller. It all looks good in the theory, but what will happen in practice?
What do we like | What we don’t like |

Surprisingly easy setup
The establishment of Wagner does not take much time than the establishment of a traditional paint tray. One of the most liked things I like about the side kick is that it is connected to the current paint cans, so you don’t need to throw paint in a storage because you will be with many paint spray (nor do you need to clean a repository when you work all). It takes seconds to attach the pump to the paint aspect. From there, just keep the pump tube in paint, connect the roller to the other end of the tube, plug the side kick in the outlet, and start the painting.
Short learning curved letters
Once I established the side kick, I decided to paint my top halls. Controls are easy: Press the button on the roller handle to start the pump and the paint flow in the roller. When you first fire the side kick, the paint in the paint takes about 30 seconds to flow into the 16 -foot tube and roller.
Learning with the side kick is a little part of learning. I left a very long pump on my first attempt, which overloaded the roller with color, which caused me to put a lot of thick coating on the wall. But after just a few minutes, I quickly felt a good feeling about how to regulate such a right paint on the roller. From there, I left for the race. Without stopping the brush permanently, I was able to work quickly in my hallway to the wider wall of the wall. My only real grip was with a brush, which is significantly heavy from a standard, especially when the paints high.
Although the wagner side kick is the most obvious benefit, I have noticed other benefits. Without a painted tray permanently withdrawn, there were fewer drops and therefore got less messy than a standard roller. I also found that the paint is thicker with a side kick compared to a standard roller, which allows better coverage and results in a lower coat.
With its 16 -foot hose, the side kick offers a lot of limit. I managed to work at a distance from the wall below the wall before reaching the top of the high wall and replaced the box. When I had to move the cans, it was easy to do because the pump is small, lightweight, and connected to the cans or bucket.
Multi -dimensional cleaning
As much as I enjoyed my first effort with the side kick, I frightened the inevitable process of cleaning, after which it will happen. In particular, I wonder how I am going to clean the paint with 16 feet tube in the world.
I found out that cleanliness was easier for me. This process requires you to flush the hose with fresh water using the bucket, remove the roller and rinse the roller parts. Although the standard roller is required to clean up the side kick, it requires more steps, but it is not complicated. Everyone said, it took me about 15 minutes to clean the side kick. Yes, it takes more time than the standard brush cleaning, especially if you throw your roller brush at the end of the day, but I find it worth trying-especially for day-to-day painting.
Does Wagner Smart Sidek really save time?

There are many gazemo that is designed to make the painting faster and easier. Some work and some are futile. I will keep the Wagner side kick firmly in the real time savers. After being able to paint regularly without being repeatedly returned to the tray for paint, I found myself moving fast through the job, covered the walls and covered it faster than it. I would say that time saving is permanent on the job type. Given its prolonged cleaning process, side kick is perfect for big jobs.
